The EVS Story
From Stray to Survivor:
In 2015, our founders rescued a stray cat on the brink of death, later naming her Gracie. Utilizing BSH products and fish oil, they nursed her back to health. This experience ignited a desire to conduct further research to aid our four-legged companions.
By 2017, after a year of market study and industry research, Enhanced Vet Sciences (EVS) established facilities in the Lexington, Kentucky area.
In 2018, EVS initiated multi-year scientific trials at the University of Kentucky to explore alternative mobility solutions beyond those currently available.
In 2019 to 2023, EVS grew hemp, dried, milled, and processed all to biomass in central Kentucky at the EVS 1.8 million square foot greenhouse and in partnership with local farmers on over 2000 acres. As part of the scientific studies, EVS created its own genetics and created its own proprietary BSH blends, all utilized in final studies.
By 2023, these studies concluded that EVS’s palatable and easy-to-deliver daily pet mobility chews and soft bits, formulated with broad-spectrum hemp (BSH), effectively support mobility and healthy joints in both pets and equines.
In 2024, EVS developed and tested its innovative “Get Your Pet on Your Bag” technology, first introduced at smaller retail trade shows across the country. EVS became a pro member of the NASC, the gold standard within our category.
In 2025, EVS unveiled “Get Your Pet on Your Bag” to over 30,000 veterinary professionals at the VMX show in Orlando. Attendees had the opportunity to participate in a fun “Spin to Win” event, with over 750 winners processed on-site. Following the event, several enhancements were made to improve the customer experience—including the integration of new AI features to make the process even more engaging and enjoyable.
Gracie is now 11 and is loving life!
